The coalition failed to get a majority today (Sunday) in the organizing committee to pass the Family Reunification Law for discussion in the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee later this week, and the discussion was adjourned without a vote.
The opposition did an exercise, and at the beginning of the debate sought to withdraw all the right to speak of Knesset members from the Likud and factions of Torah Judaism, Shas and religious Zionism. The Knesset members then moved on to discuss other issues.
