Confirmed covid-19 cases are approaching 4 million.

This Monday, 23,239 new infections were registered, for a total of 3,968,405 confirmed cases of the virus in Colombia, which is going through a third wave, exacerbated by more than 40 days of protests against the government, according to the Ministry of Health.

Colombia took 306 days to reach the first 50,000 deaths from coronavirus.

And from 50,000 to 100,000 deaths, 149 days passed.
