The more than 2000 cantons in France will have this Sunday evening, at the end of the second round of the departmental elections, two departmental advisers.

The French are indeed called to the polls, in parallel with the regional elections, to renew their departmental elected representatives, after a first round which had seen the success of the historic parties.

The search engine above allows you to discover the results of the second round of this ballot in your municipality or your canton, as soon as they are known.

Certain departments should be observed closely: the National Assembly could increase its number of departmental advisers and push the right to ally with it to chair departments, other departments could switch, to the right or to the left, and the majority could lose the few cantons it has today ...

Results and analyzes, department by department

Follow our direct in the departments of Ile de France and Oise:

• In Essonne: leading in 13 out of 21 cantons, the current majority has a good chance of keeping the department.

• In the Hauts de Seine, the departmental majority is in the lead in 19 cantons.

  She faces union pairs from the left or LREM tandems.

• In Seine Saint-Denis, 5 of the 21 cantons are likely to switch.

• In the Val d'Oise, the right currently holds 16 of the 21 cantons and could keep the same number of seats.

• In the Val de Marne, the last Communist department in France, the ballot promises to be tight as the right came first in the first round.

• In Seine et Marne, will the call to the republican front work against the candidates of the National Rally still present in fifteen cantons?

  According to still incomplete results from the Ministry of the Interior (based on 55% of registrants received), abstention would be 69.25% (against 72.19% in the first round).

  Republicans lead with 39.06% of the vote.

• In the Yvelines, the outgoing majority made up of the right and the center hope to repeat the grand slam in this second round.

• In the Oise, the outgoing majority appears in a position of strength: it is able to keep the fifteen cantons won in 2015 and could take control of three others.
