Today, Civil Defense personnel in Homs put out a fire that engulfed dry grass and olive trees in the town of Khirbet Al-Hamam in the western countryside of Homs.
Brigadier General Ghiath Akil, Director of Civil Defense in Homs, told SANA reporter that the branch’s operations room received a report about a fire in the fields of the town of Khirbet al-Hamam, west of Homs. And carry out cooling operations, noting that the area burned up to 15 dunums.
