Al-Kazemi said: We will continue to coordinate on major regional files, especially the crises in Syria, Libya, Yemen and the Palestinian issue, so that we can crystallize a common vision towards it and help it overcome challenges.

For his part, the Egyptian President considered that the summit is an embodiment of the strength of relations between the three countries and their peoples and indicates the extent of keenness to support and develop these relations towards broader horizons that emphasize the unity of purpose and destiny and meet common interests.

Iraqi President Barham Salih also discussed, during two separate meetings, with his Egyptian counterpart and the Jordanian King, raising the level of coordination between the three countries and developing prospects for cooperation in the economy, trade, development, infrastructure projects, energy and oil transmission.

The Iraqi presidency said in a statement that Saleh stressed "the necessity of strengthening tripartite cooperation through geographical communication in order to achieve economic and commercial integration, support investment, joint industrial cities, and cooperation in the field of energy and infrastructure."
