Reichersbeuern - Wild West in Reichersbeuern.
A 41-year-old, who wanted to demonstrate to his son the effect of a blank gun on Saturday evening, caused a large-scale police operation.
Around 10:25 p.m., the Tölz police were alerted by telephone by a Reichersbeurer that a neighbor had fired several shots in his garden.
Due to the unclear operational situation, a total of ten patrol cars were pulled together from the surrounding service areas and sent to Reichersbeuern.
The situation suddenly eased, writes the police in their report, when contact was made with the shooter who frankly admitted that he had fired with a blank gun and blank cartridges.
He wanted to show this to his son, said the 41-year-old.
Police also secure a butterfly knife
The shooter turned out to be not as insightful as the police had hoped.
He was in possession of a "small gun license", he defended the night shooting.
The blanket pistol and a prohibited butterfly knife that were found on him were seized by the officers.
41-year-old was drunk
The 41-year-old had been drunk.
To what extent, the police do not write.
Only that he is therefore expecting a complaint under the gun law.
In addition, a message will be sent to the district office, which is responsible for checking the reliability necessary for the possession of the “small gun license”.
