Putin instructs to start vaccinating foreigners and migrant workers

Today, Russian President Vladimir Putin issued instructions to the Cabinet to organize the vaccination of citizens and foreign workers coming to Russia with the intention of work, starting from the 15th of next July.

And the Kremlin website published an official statement in this regard, which stated: “To strengthen prevention and confront the spread of the new Corona virus, the President of the country gave instructions to vaccinate foreign citizens coming to Russia for the purpose of work,” noting that “the sources of funding for this process will be determined from a special budget.”

The Russian capital, Moscow, and its suburbs began a comprehensive vaccination campaign as a result of the recent deterioration of the epidemiological situation, as its mayor, Sergei Sobyanin, announced earlier the extension of the current restrictions in Moscow due to the Corona virus until the 29th of this June.

In turn, the head of the Russian Federal Service for Consumer Rights Protection (Rospotreb Nadzor) Anna Popova said that the mandatory vaccination against the Corona virus for vulnerable groups, if necessary, will be imposed in the regions of Russia.
