Loïg Chesnais-Girard, outgoing socialist president of the Brittany region, won the second round of regional elections, with around 30% of the vote, according to initial estimates.
Behind, the ecologist Claire Desmares-Poirrier would come in second position, with 21%.
LR candidate Isabelle Le Callennec would total 20% of the vote.
She is followed by macronist Thierry Burlot (17%) and RN candidate Gilles Pennelle (12%).

Despite his lead, Loïg Chesnais-Girard is not yet certain of achieving a majority in the Regional Council.
