Regional 2021 in Brittany: Loïg Chesnais-Girard (PS) keeps the region

Loïg Chesnais-Girard, outgoing socialist president of the Brittany region, won the second round of regional elections, with around 30% of the vote, according to initial estimates.

Behind, the ecologist Claire Desmares-Poirrier would come in second position, with 21%.

LR candidate Isabelle Le Callennec would total 20% of the vote.

She is followed by macronist Thierry Burlot (17%) and RN candidate Gilles Pennelle (12%).
