Starting construction of the last two towers in the savings housing project in Lattakia

Lattakia, SANA- The branch of the Public Corporation for Housing in Lattakia started construction works on the 34th and 35th mills within the savings project.

The branch of the General Organization for Housing in Lattakia started the construction works of Al-Mahdrin 34 and 35 within the housing savings project on Al-Thawra Street in Lattakia.

The director of the Foundation’s branch, Eng. Kinan Saeed, explained that the housing savings project in Al-Thawra Street in Lattakia has come to its end, indicating that the number of those registered in the saving houses in the Latakia branch reached 1,492 subscribers, of whom 1,300 were allocated, and the remaining number will be allocated in a number of existing tower buildings in addition to the two towers that We started working with them.

Eng. Saeed pointed out that the Corporation has a surplus of housing within the housing savings project, and the matter will be returned to the Board of Directors of the Public Corporation for Housing to take a decision about it, as it can be alternative housing for those who warn of demolition.

Saeed indicated that the two towers include 104 apartments, each of which is estimated at 145 square meters, and will be 80% finished, according to the contract concluded with the General Company for Water Projects, at a total cost of 2 billion Syrian pounds.

For his part, Engineer Muhannad Maarouf, Branch Manager of the General Company for Water Projects, the implementing agency, indicated that work has begun on the implementation of two residential towers within the Savings Housing project to secure housing at the cost price. Each tower consists of 14 floors, and each floor includes 4 apartments.
