Syria condemned in the strongest terms the recent American and Israeli statements regarding the occupied Syrian Golan, stressing that its right to the Golan is fixed and supported by international legitimacy resolutions, which inevitably belongs to the motherland.
An official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement to SANA today: The Syrian Arab Republic condemns in the strongest terms the recent American and Israeli statements regarding the occupied Syrian Golan, which affirm that the American policy towards the Arab nation and its issues comes from the Israeli perspective and serves the policy of aggression, expansion and hegemony over the region.
The source added: The Syrian Arab Republic reaffirms that its right to the occupied Golan is fixed and is supported by international legitimacy resolutions, and it is a right that does not die with time, and that all American and Israeli positions regarding this right are void and have no legal effect.
The source added: The Syrian Arab Republic reiterates that the occupied Golan is inevitably returning to the motherland by all means guaranteed by international law, and the day will come when the Syrian Arab flag will be raised over the entire soil of the Golan liberated from the yoke of the brutal occupation.
