The Sultanate of Oman recorded a record increase in the number of infections and deaths due to the outbreak of the Corona virus during the past three days.
The Omani News Agency quoted the Ministry of Health as saying that 119 deaths and 5,517 new injuries were recorded during the past three days, while the number of injured people receiving treatment in intensive care increased to 489.
The ministry indicated that the total number of coronavirus infections in the Sultanate of Oman since the outbreak of the epidemic has reached 262,059, including 2,967 deaths and 229,998 recoveries.
