"Hong Kong 01" was measured at noon today. It took the Tuen Ma Line and the original railway line from Mei Foo Station to Kwun Tong Station. From Diamond Hill Station to Kwun Tong Line, the journey takes about 30.5 minutes, which is about 7 minutes faster than the Tuen Ma Line.

"Hong Kong 01" at nearly 12 noon, two teams assembled at Mei Foo Station D as the midway point to the platform of the Tuen Ma Line and Tsuen Wan Line, and then the soldiers split into two routes to Kwun Tong Station.

One of the teams took the old line, that is, along the Tsuen Wan Line, transferred to the Kwun Tong Line at Prince Edward Station and went to Kwun Tong Station; the other team took the Tuen Ma Line from Mei Foo to Diamond Hill Station, and then transferred to the Kwun Tong Line to Kwun Tong .

The reporter measured the journey time to Kwun Tong using the Tuen Ma Line and the old route in two teams.

The old route first took the bus to Prince Edward Station, and then transferred to the Kwun Tong Line to the destination. During the actual measurement, taking into account the walking and waiting time, it took about 11 minutes to reach Prince Edward Station, and finally about 30.5 minutes to Kwun Tong Station.

This is similar to the 29 minutes marked on the MTR app.

As for the first team on the Tuen Ma Line, after entering the station at Mei Foo, they will transfer to Diamond Hill via the Tuen Ma Line and transfer to the Kwun Tong Line.

As the reporter once entered the station at Mei Foo, he went to the platform in the direction of Tuen Mun Station. He also spent some shooting in the middle of the station. It took 45 minutes to arrive at Kwun Tong.

It takes about 38 minutes to arrive at a normal speed, which is similar to the 37 minutes expected by the MTR program.

In other words, going to Kwun Tong via the Tuen Ma Line takes about 7 minutes longer than using the old line.

It’s a long way to change trains at Diamond Hill Station on the Tunma Line

Taking a look at the two routes, the old route from the Tsuen Wan Line to the Kwun Tong Line, because it is more convenient to transfer at Prince Edward Station, you can walk directly to the opposite platform; and today, after the Kowloon Tong Station, the carriages are looser and more vacant.

As for the Tuen Ma Line, the distance when changing trains at Diamond Hill Station is longer, and perhaps due to the opening of the new line, the carriages have always been more crowded and the time has always been slower than the old line.
