The farewell of Sergio Agüero from Manchester City left cloth to cut and a wall without paint.

It is that one of the most beloved players of the Citizens, located by his fans on an eternal pedestal, is no longer so in the North neighborhood of the city, or at least in one of the most famous corners.

There a mural had been painted in homage to Kun, but this Monday a couple of workers were in charge of cleaning it.

As simple as that.

Why?

The Aguero mural on the side of Allotment is being sprayed over right now.

The reasons were not revealed from the image that began to circulate on the Twitter page of the Northern Quarter Manchester media, which has 218,000 followers on the aforementioned network.

Yes the fans published their opinions.

Most were surprised and simply asked "why?"

There another question arose: was the painting temporary?

A man identified as Furqan Hussain wrote: “This will always be with me”, and uploaded a photo of him posing with the mural behind.

The top scorer and considered the best player in the team's history received the picturesque -literal- tribute in memory of a goal marked by fire, the one that scored Queens Park Rangers and served to win the title from Manchester United in 2012. That goal remained in the memory of the fans because - in the discount - it made

possible the victory that gave the title to City after 44 years of drought

. Kun entered the area, started to the right and, after the right hand, put the ball over the goalkeeper's left post.

"I swear to you that you will never see something like this again", was the phrase of the excited reporter of the game that was played in Manchester.

That unforgettable May 13 had United celebrated 1-0 at Sunderland.

City had to win, but at 90 'they lost 2-1.

Edin Dzeko made it 2-2 at 91 '.

and Kun, 3-2 at 93 '.

The mural painted on May 22.

On May 22, before Agüero left the club in his farewell match against Everton, they made the mural to the former Independiente with the phrase:

“This will always be your City”.

Even Kun stopped by and signed it.

From now on, it became a place of worship for fans, who began to pass through the place and take photos with the image of a witness (they were going to have a few pints of beer at the bar next door).

However, the tribute to the one who finished with 260 goals in the team (he said goodbye with the double to Everton)

lasted less than a month.

until a powerful pressure washer lunged at the paint and wiped it away

.

Kun will no longer be seen taking off his shirt to party like crazy.

Anyway, the fans don't need it: they have the image in their hearts.
