Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova affirmed that her country has always worked to spread peace and love in the world, contrary to the thinking adopted by NATO countries based on fear and confrontation.
Sputnik quoted Zakharova as saying, commenting on the statements of the German ambassador to Ukraine about the war with Russia: “It is convenient to use the phrase of the German ambassador to give an example of the difference between the worldview of Russia and the ideology of NATO countries, where everyone is afraid to enter into a direct war with Russia ... that is, it is a matter of fear.” .
"NATO members are unscrupulous," Zakharova added. "In the beginning, they used the alliance and sabotaged Ukraine, which lost its full sovereignty, to remember today that they have some legal restrictions in continuing their policies."
Zakharova noted that "it was necessary for them to remember the truth and morals when they put their own services in the ministries and departments of Ukraine and trained militants to destabilize the region."
The German ambassador to Kiev, Anka Feldgossen, had spoken of the fear of a possible military conflict between Russia and Ukraine, and said: "This is indeed possible in the event of an escalation of matters between the two countries."
