After weeks in lockdown, a picnic in the sunshine and good music outside sounds tempting.
This is exactly what happens on Sunday, November 11th.
July, at the Fürstenfeld picnic.
Fürstenfeldbruck - On the open space of the event forum you can feast and chat to your heart's content from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. with free admission.
A supporting program is also offered.

The Fürstenfeldpicknick will be the first big open-air event after the lockdown? Why do you start the summer season with it?
When the beer gardens were allowed to reopen, it quickly became clear to us that we would organize our popular picnic this summer as well.
After all, a picnic is a kind of beer garden, just with blankets instead of seating.
Here you can just as easily keep your distance from guests outside your own contact group in the open air.
With the motto “Checkered blanket instead of Canaries”, we would like to bring some summer and holiday feeling home to all visitors.
After the long restrictions, you can enjoy the day on the picnic blanket with family and friends on the beautiful meadows of the monastery area.
So far, our summer picnic has always been successful, and right now many people are certainly longing for variety and relaxation.

Is there a visitor limit?
There are no fixed maximum limits for beer gardens.
The visitor capacity depends on the available space.
There are no special regulations for picnics, but at least 500 visitors are allowed at the same time.
Which hygiene regulations have to be observed due to corona?
According to the current status, registration at the entrances takes place via the LUCA app or a contact form.
An FFP2 mask must be worn except at your own seat.
Please also note the contact restrictions and the distance to guests outside your own group.
What is different than usual?
The event will not take place this year in bad weather, there is no alternative date.

Unfortunately, there is no competition for the best outfit or a dance floor this year.
You can of course dance on the square.
What can visitors look forward to?
In addition to food they have brought with them, our guests can look forward to the culinary delights of the Fürstenfeld gastronomy as well as cocktails, ice cream, crepes and delicacies on the coffee mobile. A selection of stands with beautiful accessories, jewelry and home inspirations invites you to browse. The picnic will be accompanied by music by Maria Rui and Samy Danger. The Portuguese songwriter Maria Rui mixes style and expression from different parts of the world. Afterwards, Samy Danger, guitarist and songwriter from “Jameram”, ends the summer evening. As a solo artist, he surprises with musical diversity, from folk to blues to indie, enriched with African and South American influences - a feast for the ears.
