As reported by the municipality, the municipal council had already made the decision last year.
The ceremony has not yet taken place due to the corona pandemic.
Since celebrations are now possible again, Kreuth wants to hold the honor in July.
The successful ski racer Rebensburg, who ended her career in September 2020 after, among other things, an Olympic victory and two vice world championship titles, will be the tenth honorary citizen of Kreuth. The deceased Field Marshal Paul von Hindenburg and Metro founder Otto Beisheim also bear the dignity.
