After months of coordination and processing of expert reports, the district office approved the building application for the Münsingen town hall with community center this week.

Münsing - Most recently there were discussions about pollution control in the Münsing municipal council.

Some councils feared that evening operations in the immediate vicinity of a residential area could lead to lawsuits or unprofitable event times.

"On Wednesday the government of Upper Bavaria paid us a visit and found that a good path had been taken," reported Mayor Michael Grasl (Free Voters) in a press release.

He emphasizes that the community will continue to keep an eye on costs and ensure that the town hall and community hall are reused.

The specialist advisor commissioned by the municipality, Peter Hacker, has recently been providing an overview of the cost development and the schedule on a regular basis in the municipal council.

According to him, the civil engineering work will be awarded in July and the shell will be put out to tender.

The carpentry work will be put out to tender in autumn.

According to Mayor Grasl, the operating concept for the community center must be refined by the end of the year.

But there is already a good basis that has been created by a working group from the local council.

As reported, the project, which cost 21.5 million euros, is funded by the government of Upper Bavaria as part of the Integrated Urban Development Concept (ISEK) program.

The ISEK also includes the improvement of the traffic situation in the center of Münsingen.

To this end, town hall chief Grasl would like to involve the citizens again in a public meeting in autumn, as he announced.
