"False" interviews with "real" professionals, development of training ... Initiatives are multiplying in the department to pe

His CV is already annotated with multiple indications.

“They told me that it had to be better structured by bringing together the experiences I had,” says Sarah.

They also told me that the training part should be deleted.

She smiles: "We can imagine that I graduated from high school.

“After an inconclusive first experience in the trade, the young woman decided to reorient herself, but struggles to find a company to welcome her on a work-study basis.

"Me, I have very few contacts, it is not easy to develop a network", explains this resident of Liancourt (Oise).

So Sarah decided to take part in the “Solidarity Garden Party”, which was organized last week in Clermont, by the Clé de Fa communication agency. An initiative carried out in partnership with Cap emploi and the local Clermontois mission, Liancourtois and the Thérain Valley.

"Nobody has a magic wand"

"The idea is to put business leaders in touch with young people who are struggling," explains Fanny Souchon, the director of the agency.

Because the stakes are high.

In the department, the number of job seekers, aged under 25 (category A, B and C), has increased by 3.5% over the past year, according to the latest figures provided by Pôle emploi .

This represents a total of 10,560 people.

In Clermont, “false” interviews with “real” professionals were thus organized.

"I see them arriving in complete panic during a professional meeting, so we help them come to terms with their CV and we open up our network to them," continues Fanny Souchon.

Tools that would therefore allow some to get back to work.

"No one has a magic wand to re-engage a young person who has moved away from the job market, but we can put very concrete things in place," adds Estelle Charles, regional director of Pôle emploi Oise.

"It's complicated because I don't have the license"

And to cite the example of workshops in the catering industry: “With the pandemic, some did not work in the kitchens for long months. Young people did not trust themselves at all, even if their skills were still there. We will therefore put them back on a kitchen tray. "In the six months which follow the training, the rate of return to work is close to 31%, recalls the person in charge.

Among the candidates present in Clermont, we find Loan, 19, who took the opportunity to have his portrait taken by the photographer present. "It's for my CV," said the young man, holder of a bac S and looking for a job, "to finance [his] studies", after a first experience at Parc Astérix. But there is also Jérémy, 22, looking for a work-study program for a year, who wanted to train for his "interviews". Or also Dimitri, 21, unemployed, who wants to orient himself in personal assistance. “It's complicated, because I don't have the license, so no car,” he slips. And to joke: "I have an electric scooter, it makes young dynamic executive, no? "

As for the local mission, we appreciate this "boost" from the communication agency.

“We have young people who imagine that the business world is not within their reach.

It's a big pressure for them.

So seeing business leaders in another setting and discussing with them makes them more accessible, says Gael Kornig, job training officer.

Some even leave with internships or work-study options.

"A sponsorship network that has lasted for" ten years "between the local mission and the communication agency.

“And the agency welcomes us interns throughout the year.

"

The local mission of Clermontois, Liancourtois and Vallée du Thérain is located at 3, rue Gérard-Philipe, in Clermont.
