● Regional in Île-de-France

A poor performance.

LREM did not succeed in disturbing the re-election of Valérie Pécresse in Île-de-France, despite the reinforcement of five ministers on its lists - Marlène Schiappa (Citizenship), Amélie de Montchalin (Transformation and Public Service), Nathalie Élimas (Education priority), Emmanuelle Wargon (Housing) and Gabriel Attal (spokesperson).

The macronist candidate who led the list, Laurent Saint-Martin, came fourth behind the outgoing ex-LR president (44.9%), the ecologist Julien Bayou (33.3%) and the vice-president of RN Jordan Bardella (11.4%).

● Regional in the Center-Val de Loire

  • Marc Fesneau, head of the regional list and candidate in Loir-et-Cher:

In Center-Val de Loire, a rare hope of conquest for the presidential majority before the first round, the Minister Delegate in charge of Relations with Parliament was placed in fourth position across the region (16%).

He comes behind outgoing PS president François Bonneau (39%), RN candidate Aleksandra Nicolic (25%), and LR deputy Nicolas Forissier (20%).

  • Geneviève Darrieussecq, head of the regional list and candidate in the Landes:

The Minister Delegate in charge of Memory and Veterans Affairs obtained 13% of the votes in New Aquitaine.

It is placed far behind the outgoing PS president Alain Rousset, reelected for a fifth term (39%).

In addition, the deputy candidate for the departmental in the canton of Mont-de-Marsan-2, where she was elected in 2015, the minister sees the incumbents of her camp fail (48.8%) in the face of the union of the left, which delighted the two elected seats.

  • Sébastien Lecornu, candidate for Vernon (Eure):

The Minister of Overseas France obtained 81.1% of the vote in his canton of Vernon (Eure) against the National Rally.

● Departmental in Hauts-de-France

  • Gérald Darmanin, candidate in the North:

In his canton of Tourcoing-2, the Minister of the Interior Gérald Darmanin obtains 54.4% of the votes against the united left.

  • Brigitte Bourguignon, candidate in Pas-de-Calais:

In her canton of Desvres, the Minister Delegate for Autonomy Brigitte Bourguignon beats the RN with 66.3% of the vote.
