Three cyclists were injured in accidents in Schäftlarn and Straßlach over the weekend.
Straßlach / Schäftlarn
- During an overtaking maneuver on the bike path on the B11 between Schäftlarn and Baierbrunn, a racing cyclist and a mountain biker clashed on Saturday around 4.30 p.m.
The racing cyclist (42) wanted to overtake when the 54-year-old suddenly swerved to the left on his mountain bike, reports the police.
The cyclists, both from the southern district of Munich, fell, and the 54-year-old was worse off.
An ambulance took him to the hospital while the racing cyclist wanted to see a doctor himself, according to the police.
Racing cyclist crashes into a car
At the confluence of Kirchenweg with Grünwalder Straße in Straßlach, a racing cyclist and a car collided on Sunday at around 6.45 p.m.
According to the police, the 77-year-old driver turned too far to the left when turning right into Kirchenweg, and the 55-year-old racing cyclist was too far in the opposite lane.
Fortunately, the cyclist was only slightly injured.
Damage around 1200 euros - of which 1000 euros on the bike.
