La Gazzetta dello Sport
revealed last November that Zlatan Ibrahimovic was in advanced contact with Swedish director Jens Sjögren for a film project.
This Monday, the striker lifted the veil on the trailer for a film retracing his life and all playing career via his Twitter account.
"I am Zlatan: The Movie" will be inspired by the book "I am Zlatan" released in 2004.
Dominic Bajraktari Andersson will play Ibrahimovic for the period from 11 to 13, when the former Paris SG player was growing up in the poor suburb of Rosengard. Granit Rushiti was chosen to slip into the skin of the striker (aged 17 to 23) who revealed himself to Ajax Amsterdam. It is not known if the AC Milan star will make an appearance in the production, which will be released on September 10 in Sweden. The release date in France has not been announced at the moment.
