Syrian cartoonist Raed Khalil has been chosen as the director of the fifth edition of the Artonest International Festival in Iran and as an arbitrator for its competition, which will continue until next September.
The festival president, Iranian artist Daoud Yar Ahmadi, stated that the Artonest Festival committee includes artists and designers in three sections: caricature, poster and photography, while the caricature committee includes artists from Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Poland, China and Iran.
It is worth mentioning that Khalil participated in the arbitration of many international caricature competitions in (Brazil, Azerbaijan, Germany, India, Turkey, Iran, United Arab Emirates, China, Morocco, Egypt and Iraq).
