The rich lady’s wife was secretly filmed by a security guard who took off her skirt and topless from a closed-circuit television with her mobile phone at home many years ago. After the security left his job, together with an old colleague and an intermediary, she extorted 100 million yuan from the wealthy businessman and pointed to him. If you don't handle it properly, your reputation will be damaged and your family members will be worried, so you should "pay a good price in your name."

After about three months of negotiations, three people were arrested on the day of the delivery of the film. They admitted to conspiracy to blackmail.

The security said that he committed the crime at the instigation of his former colleague. He and the intermediary were sentenced to 2 years and 8 months in jail at the District Court today (29th).

Ren Baorong’s former colleague was sentenced to 2 years and 2 months in jail after his sentence was reduced for confessing more cases to assist the prosecution.

The defendant assisted the prosecution to testify that the other two were given a larger sentence deduction

Three defendants: Kuang Xiongguang (58 years old, delivery driver), Xu Wenjie (46 years old, security guard) and Huang Xuanzhong (51 years old, security guard) pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to blackmail earlier.

The charges allege that they conspired from January 11 to April 1, 2020 to improperly demand that the victim X hand over a sum of money.

Xu Wenjie and Huang Xuanzhong were colleagues and worked in X's home.

Kwong and Huang were sentenced to 32 months’ imprisonment. Xu Yin once admitted to the prosecution with "non-destructive testimony" to testify against the other two defendants. He was sentenced to 26 months’ imprisonment with a reduction of 45% of his sentence.

The court issued an anonymous order earlier to prohibit the media from reporting the name and occupation of the victim, as well as the relationship between the victim and the person involved.

Wealthy businessman X SMS received a nude photo of his wife's back

The case alleged that on January 11 last year, wealthy businessman X received a nude photo of his wife Y's back through WhatsApp. The other party claimed to have a complete video and bought it with X, otherwise it would sell it to others.

The first defendant, Kwong Hung Kwong, subsequently called X with the same number and asked him if he wanted to retrieve the photo.

X borrowed the word to be busy and asked the other party to contact his assistant.

However, X has called the police, and a senior detective inspector pretending to be X's assistant, contacted Kwong and said that he was only an intermediary and could not decide how much to bid.

The film sees the rich man X's wife naked for 2 seconds

Kwong then sent a message to X, stating that if the phone call for X that had been spent tens of thousands of yuan was not handled properly, it would damage X’s reputation and worry about his family. He also said: "Pay a good price in your capacity...a thought of heaven. One thought hell".

Kwong and Hou asked for 100 million yuan and sent a 24-second video of Y taking off her skirt and walking only in underwear. Before she covered her breasts with her hands, her upper body was naked for about 2 seconds.

Kwong and Chen discussed the details of the transaction. Kwong said that the encrypted USB containing the film would be placed in a locker, and Chen asked for face-to-face delivery. Kwong claimed to be a member of the old-school loyal society and would not betray the film owner.

The defendant was arrested on the settlement day

A few days later, Kwong changed his mind and was willing to settle the transaction in person, but he had to trade in a remote place.

But Kuang later found out that he was being followed and the transaction had not been completed.

In March last year, the second defendant Xu Wenjie called X, accusing X of implicating Chen.

After discussion, Chen agreed to pay 50 million yuan in cash first, and then pay 20 million and 30 million yuan respectively by promissory notes.

Kwong and Chen traded on the rooftop of the Star Ferry Ferry Car Park in Central on April 1st last year.

After surrendering the USB, Kwong was arrested while taking a briefcase claiming to contain cash. Xu and the third defendant, Huang Xuanzhong, were also arrested within a few hours.

I was curious to take the footage while monitoring CCTV

Huang said under the caution that when he was monitoring the closed-circuit television seven years ago, he had let Xu watch it out of curiosity and used his mobile phone to shoot the video involved.

He had no plans to commit a crime, but the other party proposed to ask X for a price of 15 million points in the film the previous year, and Huang Baikuang participated in it.

Xu Ze pointed out that Huang was short of money and asked him for a solution, so Xu asked Kwong for help.

Xu only suggested asking for 30 million yuan.

Kwong said Xu suggested asking for 90 million yuan, and he asked for 100 million yuan.
