Al-Hasakah-SANA
For the third day in a row, the Turkish occupier and its terrorist mercenaries continue to cut off the drinking water completely from the Allouk station in the countryside of Ras al-Ain for more than a million citizens in the city of al-Hasakah and the population centers and villages extending along the water line from the station to the city of al-Hasakah.
In a statement to SANA reporter, Engineer Mahmoud Al-Akla, director of Al-Hasakah Water Corporation, stated that the water problem in Al-Hasakah “can only be solved by removing terrorist organizations from the Alouk station,” stressing “the need for all parties and international organizations to intervene to stop the crime committed by the Turkish occupier against one million people who depend on Alouk Station as a source Only drinking water.”
Al-Okla added: “The Foundation is currently focusing its efforts on securing drinking water for the people of Al-Hasakah through tankers and transferring it to the city of Al-Hasakah.” Water is fit for human use.
The Turkish occupier controls the Allouk water station, as it has, over the past two months, reduced the number of pumps operating within the station and used the surplus electricity allocated to the station to light the city of Ras al-Ain and its mercenary points, which caused a 25-day cessation of water pumping for more than a million citizens in the province.
