The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed that its navy is monitoring the movements of the forces of the countries participating in the "Sea Breeze 2021" maneuvers, which began in the Black Sea yesterday, led by the North Atlantic Treaty Organization "NATO".

The Russia Today website quoted the Ministry’s National Defense Administration Center of the Russian Federation as saying in a statement today: “The forces and means of the Black Sea Fleet are implementing a set of measures to monitor the movements of ships of the joint armed forces of NATO and other countries to participate in the exercises Sea Breeze 2021, which was launched in the northwest side. to the Black Sea.

The “Sea Breeze 2021” maneuvers will take place between June 28 and July 10 in the Black Sea, with the participation of forces from 32 countries, including 40 ships, 30 aircraft, 100 vehicles and armored vehicles, and about 4,000 soldiers. Exploiting it to supply Ukrainian forces and nationalist formations in Ukraine with modernized weapons and military equipment.

The Russian delegation participating in the Vienna talks on security and arms control issues demanded the United States yesterday to show its transparency and sincerity by withdrawing its forces and weapons from the Black Sea after the end of the multinational "Naseem Al Bahar 2021" exercises.

It is noteworthy that Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova considered yesterday that the joint exercises between Ukraine and NATO constitute a "provocation" aimed at perpetuating instability along Ukraine's borders with Russia, because it will push Moscow to the inevitable response because it is a sovereign country with sovereign borders.
