"Love for home" is the slogan of the foundation brewery Erding.

This love should be refreshed after months of lockdown, from which gastronomy and culture in particular suffered.

In addition, a musical beer garden tour starts this week - in the city, but also in the country.

Erding– The starting shot will be given on Thursday, July 1st.

From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., different bands play in various taverns - with free admission.

Also there are Lou, Gasthof zur Post, Brauereigasthof Erdinger Weißbräu, Herzogstubn and Buona Vista, Gruberei, Heigl's, Mamas Bar, 10er, Zeitlos, Pizzeria Papa Remo, Empl-Keller and Münchner Court.

TetraPack, Da Waitler and the Blackjack Duo will play.

It continues on Saturday, July 3rd, with a morning pint tour in Lou, Erdinger Weißbräu, Post, Herzogstubn, Buona Vista, Mamas, Münchner Hof and Zeitlos.

Ledawix, Gaudi Harmonie, the Tafelmayer Musikante, Odrahd, Roland Hefter & Spezl, Armin Köberl and TretraPack light are expected here.

Further dates in the district will follow in the coming weeks ”, promises Andreas Brenninger, Sales Manager at Stiftungsbräu.

The concerts are financed by the brewery.

It is well known that they set aside a cent per liter for social purposes.

That was just under 50,000 euros in 2019, for example. Among other things, the money will benefit the residents of Fischer's senior citizens' center.

This year it is different, although the proceeds are significantly lower, as Erdinger managing director Josef Westermeier reported in a press conference.

In 2020, only around 27,000 euros ended up in the donation pot.

The foundation primarily supplies inns that have been closed for months due to the pandemic.

"This year we want to help those who suffered particularly from Corona, our hosts and artists," Westermeier explains the background.

You can finally meet again in a pub or beer garden, that is pure joie de vivre.

District administrator Martin Bayerstorfer, also chairman of the Fischer's charity foundation, is convinced: "The action would have been in the interests of Friedrich and Katharina Fischer."

That's why Fischer's Happy Day.

Bayerstorfer also recalled the debt relief that the brewer and couple Fischer would have granted to many a starving innkeeper.

This was also done out of self-interest.

"A brewery cannot do without its hosts."

In view of the low Corona numbers, "we must now be able to live properly again".

And gastronomy and culture played an important role.
