Thierry Mariani: "The European Parliament is more and more totalitarian"

What was Thierry Mariani doing on Monday evening, the day after his failure in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur?

The unsuccessful regional candidate had dinner at Place du Luxembourg in Brussels, right next to the European Parliament, along with his colleague from the RN, Jean-Lin Lacapelle.

," he confided in the middle of the evening with a touch of lightness, as if he had to show that the last few days were not as hard as that for him.

However, while he has just returned to Brussels, the MEP finds himself in the crosshairs of the European Parliament, just like four other of his colleagues from the RN: Virginie Joron, Jean-Lin Lacapelle, Hervé Juvin and Philippe Olivier.

The Foreign Affairs Committee in fact decided in June to exclude these five MEPs from official election observation missions commissioned by the institution.

And, it seems, waited until the elections were over to do so
