About two weeks ago, Ili Cohen, 12, from Givatayim, died after contracting a non-coronary respiratory virus.
At Sheba Hospital, where he was hospitalized, they stressed that the case is rare and unusual.
His parents wanted to make it clear that their son had not contracted Corona - neither in the past nor in the days leading up to his death, nor was he immune to the virus.
This, against the background of a wave of rumors that is common with the death of their son.
According to them, things are fundamentally flawed and severely hurt the family that is now facing the big break.
Cohen, who is generally considered a healthy child, was evacuated from his home by MDA staff in critical condition, suffering from fever and diarrhea, and thus arrived at the hospital. The body was taken to the Institute of Forensic Medicine, where they began investigating the circumstances of his death.
