A 20-year-old young man was shot dead on the night of Monday to Tuesday in an underprivileged district of Marseille and a 19-year-old second was injured, the prosecution reported.

Shortly before midnight, he was discovered in a street in the city of Bassens, in the 15th arrondissement, according to a police source.
One of the two is known to justice, added to AFP without further details the Marseille prosecutor Dominique Laurens.
The judicial police were seized.
Friday, in the same arrondissement, two football players were targeted by shots during a local tournament, killing one and seriously injuring the other. The track of settling scores is privileged in this case.
