Al-Hasakah Agriculture Directorate confirmed that the cotton crop was free of insect infestations and that the general condition of the crop was good.

Salama pointed out that the crop is currently in the process of germination, as 50 percent of the crop has reached the stage of fruiting branches, while the remaining percentage is still in the stage of leaf growth.
The area planted with the cotton crop in Al-Hasakah Governorate for the current season reached 4,679 hectares.
