The president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, said during his daily conference that he accepts the invalidation of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation to consume marijuana for recreational purposes.
The president warned that if the measure harms more than helps, he will evaluate reversing the decision.
The Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation of Mexico declared the prohibition of the recreational use of marijuana unconstitutional.
With eight votes in favor, five articles of the General Health Law that prohibit the recreational use of this substance in the country were invalidated.
