Corona eruption: Flights from red countries will land at Terminal 1

The Ministry of Transportation's directive, which is intended to combat the spread of the virus, came into effect today.

Thus, those who return from a red state will be checked and will go through customs and passport control separately from those returning from green destinations.

Flights to Israel from red countries will land starting today (Tuesday) at Terminal 1, the Ministry of Transportation announced.

Following the directive of Minister Merav Michaeli, those landing from red destinations will be inspected at the terminal and will pass passport control and customs there - separately from returnees from green countries.

In addition, it was decided to reinforce the shuttles within the airport areas to reduce congestion.
