Vienna - A 13-year-old girl was found dead in the Austrian capital Vienna on Saturday morning (June 26th, 2021).
According to the police, the body was found in the Donaustadt district.
The 13-year-old was lying lifeless on a grass verge between two streets, according to initial investigative findings.
Passers-by found the girl and tried to reanimate her - but help came too late.
The police have now arrested two suspects: a 16-year-old and an 18-year-old who are to be questioned on Tuesday, as a police spokesman confirmed.

According to police, the autopsy of the dead girl revealed that the 13-year-old may have died from suffocation.
Meanwhile, it is unclear whether the alleged perpetrator and the victim knew each other.
According to media reports, the 13-year-old came from Lower Austria.
