A stranger apparently cracked the code on June 18 and hacked into the computer network of the traditional company Himolla in Taufkirchen.

The employees were written to by their department heads.

They were informed that from the following Monday there would be no work in either production or administration.

“At first I thought it was fun,” says one employee.

The Polish employees who had gone home over the weekend were also informed that they did not have to come.

“Production and administration, everything has been shut down,” confirms another employee at the request of the Erdinger Anzeiger.

The management itself holds back with statements.

When asked, Managing Director Ralph Bestgen said: “We won't say anything about the ongoing proceedings at first.

We had a hacker attack.

We shut everything down for security reasons. ”Now we're gradually going back online.

“We work normally in administration.

The factory is still at a standstill.

But we are in the process of gradually ramping up all the affected areas, ”says Bestgen.
