Suspected domestic servant abuse incidents broke out in consecutive months. The Asian Migrant Federation (AMCB) held a press conference with 5 battered foreign domestic helpers today (29th). An Indian domestic servant said that he was sexually harassed and raped by a male employer in February this year. After finding out she was pregnant, the female employer asked her to have an abortion.
In response to enquiries today, the police stated that a 44-year-old man was arrested in Yuen Long District last month for indecent assault and rape, and was temporarily charged with three counts of indecent assault and one crime of rape.

The police replied that the Yuen Long Police Station received a 29-year-old foreign woman's report on May 19 that she was assaulted and raped by a male employer from February to March.
After preliminary investigations, the officers arrested a 44-year-old local man in Yuen Long District on the same day on suspicion of indecent assault and rape.
The man was temporarily charged with three counts of indecent assault and one count of rape. He appeared in Tuen Mun Magistracy on May 21.
The case was handed over to the fifth team of the Yuen Long Police District Criminal Investigation Team for follow-up.
