The operator of the Rosenhof Lichtspiele explains in an interview what guests can expect.

Moosburg

- Thursdays are generally very important for cinemas: Traditionally, the new strips come to cinemas on this weekday.

This week, on July 1st, Thursday is even more important: nationwide, film distributors and associations have agreed on this date to restart after the forced Corona break.

In Moosburg, too, cinema operator Verena Dollinger (27) is preparing intensively for the resumption of operations, as she explains in an interview.

Freisinger Tagblatt:

Ms. Dollinger, from Thursday it will be again: “Let's go!” How do you feel about the comeback?

Verena Dollinger:

With a very positive one: We are incredibly happy and really look forward to the day.

Finally cinema again, finally films again!

After eight months of silence something is stirring again.

What can your visitors look forward to?

The summer comes packed with many good films and we are showing many highlights of them.

We start with the Bavarian crime comedy “Weissbier im Blut”.

It's something to sit down, laugh and forget everything out there.

In addition, the remake of "Catweazle" with Otto Waalkes is running, also a comedy.

For the young guests we have "Peter Rabbit 2 - A rabbit leaves the field" in the program.

A really nice, fun-loving children's film that I'm looking forward to because the first part was so beautiful.

Yes, and then there will soon be great films like “Fast & Furious 9”, “James Bond - No Time to Die”, the “Kaiserschmarrn Drama” or the “Beckenrand Sheriff”.

With all the cinema fun: Some corona requirements still apply.

How does a visit to the Rosenhof Lichtspiele work?

Similar to a restaurant.

The customer comes in wearing an FFP2 mask.

The ticket is then bought at the cash register if this has not already been done online.

The guests must then register.

This is done in the classic way with pen and paper.

However, we recommend the Luca app, which is already widely used, which greatly shortens the process for everyone involved: Simply scan the code with your mobile phone and you're checked in.

Then the guests can buy snacks and drinks, because the mask can be removed in the hall for consumption.

Our recommendation is: Go to the movie with popcorn and then nibble with relish (

laughs

).

What about security in your halls?

In the cinema, every second row is blocked again, and two seats remain free on the right and left.

You can come alone or in groups of up to ten people from up to ten households.

Recovered, vaccinated people and children up to 14 years of age do not count - as in gastro.

New opening times in the Moosburger Kino

The Rosenhof Lichtspiele have new opening times: Mondays are now closed.

The cinema and catering are open from Tuesday to Saturday from 5 p.m., on Sundays only the catering is open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., followed by two cinema screenings (afternoon and early evening).

For the time being there are no longer any Sunday evening films.
