The Russian Academy of Sciences announced that Russian vaccines against the Corona virus are harmless, calling on Russian citizens not to postpone vaccination.
Assurances that vaccination can cause any harm to human health and arguments about the long-term consequences of vaccination have no scientific basis, said the director of the Academy, Alexander Sergeyev, to Sputnik, noting that the currently available Russian vaccines cannot cause any harm to health.
He pointed out that the academy calls on the population of Russia not to postpone the vaccination and take it next month, stressing that from the point of view of science, the vaccine is the most appropriate to challenge the epidemic and the only way to return to normal life.
During the past 24 hours, the health authorities in Russia recorded 652 deaths and 20,616 new infections with the Corona virus.
The Russian authorities have taken a number of measures to motivate citizens to increase the demand for vaccination against the virus, and have imposed mandatory vaccination in a number of professional sectors to confront the increasing number of HIV infections recently.
