Lun Chang's murder occurred in Sheung Wan.
At 2 o'clock in the morning today (30th), a unit in Libao Building, 42-44 Gaosheng Street, suddenly heard calls for help and fighting, but no one opened the door, alarming neighbors to call the police.
Firefighters rushed into the house and found a pair of fathers and sons in their 70s and 50s. They were both injured. The old father was bloodied and both were sent to the hospital by ambulance.
Sources at the scene said that quarrels were often heard from the units involved.
At the time of the incident, the son was full of alcohol, talking nonsense, and used a pot and other household items to attack the sleeping father.
After investigation, the police arrested the son involved on suspicion of "assault causing actual bodily harm." They are now investigating the cause of the murder.
