After efforts made by the Ministry of Economy and Foreign Trade and the Syrian Embassy in Amman with the relevant Jordanian ministries to solve the problem of freight refrigerators loaded with Syrian exports of various products destined for foreign markets and parked on the Jordanian borders, the Jordanian Minister of Interior decided to extend the official working hours inside the Jaber Crossing border post until seven o'clock Half evening.
The ministry said in a statement, which SANA received a copy of, that coordination is currently taking place by the Jordanian Ministry of Trade with the Jordanian Ministry of Health to increase the capacity of the daily PCR checks with the aim of accelerating the procedures related to the transit of freight refrigerators and relieving as much as possible the bottlenecks that occurred during the last two weeks. .
The statement indicated that the Ministry of Economy and Foreign Trade will stop the certification of certificates of origin for Syrian exports through Nassib as of Thursday until the end of the truck crisis.
It is noteworthy that the ministry addressed the governorate of Daraa to supply the refrigerators with the fuel needed to continue the process of cooling the exported products in order to protect them from damage.
