Luis Bermúdez, 26, and his mother, Ana Ortiz, are among the victims of the collapse of the Champlain Towers South condominium building in Surfside, Florida.

Bermúdez was a young man with muscular dystrophy who studied graphic arts and created a line of “Saucy Boyz Clothing” t-shirts.

"Despite my poor mobility of my hands and fingers due to my condition of muscular dystrophy and my attitude I have achieved my dream" says the label of one of Luis's designs.

"There are no limits.

The perspective from which you look at things, life and the world, can be the key to the success of your achievements ”, he adds in his message.

His father and Ortiz's ex-partner, Luis Bermúdez, posted an emotional message on his Facebook account.

“Luiyo of my life, I miss you in every beat of my heart.

I know that you are with your mommy in heaven resting in peace and without any impediment, you are free ”, he published.

Frank Kleiman, whom Bermúdez identifies as Ortiz's current partner, was also identified by authorities as one of the people killed in the building's collapse.
