Arrested after being a fugitive for several hours, the woman in her 30s whose identity was not disclosed gave a statement to justice.

"She was taken into police custody for acts of endangering other people for deliberate breach of an obligation of prudence and security imposed by law or regulation, and for acts of involuntary injuries with incapacity not exceeding three months," revealed Miansoni.

Miansoni explained at a press conference that the woman, who is 30 years old and lives a few kilometers from where the incident occurred, could be sentenced to up to two years in prison if any of the cyclists who were injured had to be sick for more than three months.

Withdraw the complaint
The Tour de France said on Thursday that it
withdrew the complaint
against the spectator that caused a significant fall during the first stage of the current edition, which is still in police custody one day after having surrendered to the Gendarmerie.

, indicated that this decision was made in order to "calm" the situation created by the falls and so that the attention does not deviate from the race.
He reiterated, in any case, that viewers must scrupulously follow the safety regulations to avoid a repetition of this type of situation.
At the moment she has not been charged, although the Prosecutor's Office has opened a procedure for the crimes of causing injuries involuntarily and endangering the lives of third parties.

Initially, the Tour had filed a complaint against her for involuntary injuries, as did an association of cyclists.
It is also possible that the cyclists affected by the fall, such as the German Jasha Sutterlin and the Spanish Marc Soler, who had to leave, appear in the case as a private accusation to claim compensation, as the prosecutor recalled.
The Tour announced the filing of a complaint after verifying that the fan had abruptly left the scene after realizing the disaster it had caused.
The Gendarmerie opened an investigation and launched a call for witnesses to identify her, something that was achieved on Wednesday.
The representative of the Public Ministry said that if she had not turned herself in, she would have been arrested "in a few minutes or a few hours."
