Mai Meijuan also said that after years of fighting, the government has responded to the request to convert the fishermen’s village cascades into pedestrian ramps. Construction is expected to start in the second half of this year. She asked the Secretary to speed up the completion of the project and make arrangements for temporary passages during the project.
