The head of the Shomron Regional Council, Yossi Dagan, will receive close security from the police starting today (Thursday) due to being threatened at level 6, the highest level of threat - Walla learned!

Intelligence information that reached the police indicates intentions of far-right attempts to harm Dagan, following dissatisfaction with the compromise agreement signed to arrange the evacuation of the Eviatar outpost.

As part of the security, there will be police patrol tours around Dagan's house.

Tonight, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and Defense Minister Bnei Gantz finally approved the compromise agreement to regulate the Eviatar outpost.

Yesterday, the residents of the outpost agreed to a settlement, according to which they will evacuate their homes by Friday at 16:00.

After the evacuation, the state will examine the status of the land on which the place was built.

Prior to the approval, Prime Minister Shalom Shlomo signed the compromise on the Attorney General's opinion, and presented it to Bennett and Gantz.

Dagan then received a copy of Bennett and Gantz's document confirming the settlement agreement.

"Out of the challenge and the difficulty, we will emerge stronger in Eviatar and in the building of the country," Dagan said.

Yesterday, after the residents' agreement to the compromise outline, Dagan said that "a difficult decision was made for both sides. "This agreement obliges us to take difficult steps."
