For a few weeks now, young people and environmentalists from the “Fridays for Future” movement in Bavaria have been taking to the streets again and protesting. She writes on Twitter: “I don't want to disturb you here, but hundreds of thousands are threatened with starvation in Madagascar, southern Germany is flooded & North America is glowing in unprecedented heat. Neither people nor infrastructure are built for it. ”In addition to the storms in Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria, she also alludes to the extreme heat wave in Canada and the famine in Madagascar, which she sees as a consequence of climate change.
