The Suwayda Judo Team achieved good results in the Republic Championship for Cubs and Cubs, which was held recently in Damascus, by achieving nine advanced positions.
The achieved results were represented by Shahd Al-Saad winning the first place in the weight 63 kg, Aya Abu Ras, Raneem Al-Safadi, Shaima Azzam, Wajd Haider and Daniel Al-Jaramani in the second place in the weights 32, 44, 63, 66 and over 66 kg, respectively, while the third place was won by Amal Kanaan, with a weight of 36 kg, and Jad Munther, with a weight of 38 kg. Jawad Masoud weighs 46 kg.
In a statement to SANA reporter, Adham Kanaan, head of the technical committee for the game in the governorate, indicated that the tournament has produced distinguished talents that are highly reliable to achieve advanced results in the coming years after being optimally prepared.
