Dachau - Finally a cinema again!
Yesterday, cinema operator Nicole Lutz opened the cinema halls to visitors for the first time this year after the corona lockdown.
The mask can be removed and popcorn can be eaten on site.
In a short interview, Nicole Lutz makes you want to go to the cinema with some film recommendations.
Ms. Lutz, the cinema is finally starting again! What can visitors expect in the cinema?
Nicole Lutz: The visitors can expect a somewhat slimmed-down opening program.
We're starting with just five films, because on the one hand we want to test what the Dachau people are like at the cinema after a long period of time, and on the other hand we no longer have all employees available after the long period of closure and have to train new ones first.
Which films would you recommend or will there be special blockbusters in the next few weeks?
Film recommendations for families are clearly “Peter Rabbit 2” and “100% Wolf”.
From July 8th, “The Croods - Everything at the Beginning” will also start.
If you prefer something exciting, I would recommend “A Quiet Place 2”.
For action fans, “Nobody” is launched by the “John Wick” makers.
The next highlight will be "Fast and Furious 9" on July 15th.
For real fans there is also a preview on July 14th.
What we've all been waiting for is the “Kaiserschmarrndrama” on August 5th.
They had now been closed for almost eight months. How did you survive this time without losing courage?
The eight months have been a very long time for us. On the one hand, it was great to have so much time for the family and also to be home at Christmas, but since we never knew exactly when we would be allowed to open again, it was a very uncertain time for us. But we are very optimistic and won't give up anytime soon!
