The southern entrance and exit of the underground car park is being built between the Isar department store and Intersport Utzinger. This driveway had provided plenty of material for discussion - within the committee and, most recently, also at the local association of the FDP. As reported, the party would like to do without it. But that is not possible, as city planning officer Rainer Goldstein once again explained in the meeting: “There was a building permit and the city has contractually agreed to it.” Cars will be able to drive past the ramp on the right and left. There are also traffic connections in the direction of Petruskirche and on the Fasanenweg.

For the intersection, traffic planners had proposed a roundabout or a teardrop-shaped roundabout to the city council. But that had not convinced the committee. The administration had to rework together with the traffic planners. In addition, the city council's transport working group dealt with both variants. The top finally failed, the working group gave preference to the "drop". Because it will no longer be possible for cyclists and pedestrians to cross Egerlandstrasse directly from the Fasanenweg, two zebra crossings (on Fasanenweg and Egerlandstrasse at the level of the optician) were incorporated into the planning. Achim Ignatow from the Ing West planning office presented this variant to the city council at the meeting. "This is the only way to make this point reasonably safe for traffic",said the expert. And he also emphasized that a decision must be made so that things can continue.
Councilor Kohlert gives the solution a straight six

Detlev Ringer (Greens) still had concerns.
Patrik Kohlert from the Geretsried list said: "For us it is and will always be an unsatisfactory solution."
"Expressed in school grades: grade 6." For his parliamentary colleague Volker Reeh, the planning thrown on the wall was the "second best solution".
He was particularly bothered by the delivery driveways for the drugstore and the discounter.
Trucks would have to drive backwards and pose a danger to pedestrians. Edmund Häner (FDP) was also “not happy” with the solution that car drivers prefer.
He fears that there will be a forest of signs with the many driveways.

Against the votes of the Geretsried list and of Edmund Häner and Arthur Wolfseher (SPD), the city council approved the draft planning.
A good 670,000 euros have been set in this budget year.
The total cost of restoring the road will amount to just under four million euros.
