About two weeks have passed since the outbreak of the renewed corona in Israel, and five days since the decision to appoint Maj. Gen. Roni Noma as a designated projector at Ben Gurion Airport. C. From which destination did the most patients arrive, how many passengers passed through Ben Gurion Airport prior to the outbreak and what was the percentage of those diagnosed? These are the numbers.

According to data from the Ministry of Health, in June, when the outbreak that began in Binyamina and Modi'in were discovered, 360,797 people entered the country through Ben Gurion Airport. Another 95 passengers were diagnosed with blue within two weeks of arriving in the country.

In the last month, an average of 12,179 people entered the country on a daily basis - an increase of more than 18% from the previous month.

11,869 leave the country on average every day - an increase of 3% from the previous month.

Every day, an average of 8.3 new verified people are diagnosed at Ben Gurion Airport - constituting 0.08% of all those entering the country. The percentage of recovering and vaccinated of all those entering the country is 74.25%.

The Ministry of Health sampled morbidity data from 17 selected countries, of which six countries were defined at the maximum level of risk and flights to them were banned.

From Russia, one of the countries banned from flying, 55 patients returned in the last month - the highest amount.

However, Russia is also the destination to which most Israelis traveled from the countries defined as dangerous - with 4,436 passengers.

The percentage verified from Russia of all those entering the country stands at 1.14%.

To the other five dangerous countries, India, Mexico, South Africa, Brazil and Argentina, 961 flights have flown in the last month, of which only three have been confirmed, with not a single patient from India and Mexico found in every ten days since returning to the country.

Another problematic country is the United Arab Emirates, which is under the countries with a severe travel warning, but travel to it is still allowed.

In the past month, 7,962 have flown to it, with close to 90% of them being vaccinated or recovering.

Of the circulars, 21 were verified.

The countries to which almost half of Israeli flights have flown in the past month are the United States, Greece, Cyprus and Turkey.

All of them together returned 41 verified.

Although the morbidity figures among those returning to Israel are not high in relation to the number of passengers, the great danger was in the lack of discipline of those returning to isolation days, as well as in the authorities' lack of enforcement of the isolation conditions.

In addition, if the departure of Israelis to banned countries were enforced, multiple contagion chains would have been avoided.
