The Haifa psychologist suspected of indecent acts on the children and adolescents he treated is Motti Ginny - this was allowed for publication this morning (Thursday), at the request of Walla !. Ginny, a well-known psychologist in the city, introduces himself as a doctor with a PhD, a senior developmental psychologist and a specialist in the treatment of children with autism, a member of the Israel Psychological Association. Along with exposing his name and exposing the deeds attributed to him, a question also arises as to his academic degree. "He is not a doctor at all," the source said in detail. Attorney Tami Ullman told Walla! That "the suspect never claimed to have a Ph.D."

Ginny owns a private clinic in the Carmel Center and presents himself as the chief psychologist of the Milman Center, a well-known treatment center in the north funded, among other things, by public funds from the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Welfare and local authorities. On the center's website he no longer appears as a functionary.

The Magistrate's Court in Haifa initially banned the publication of his identity, although the police claimed that such publication would help advance the investigation against him.

Last week, at the request of Walla!

And other media outlets that joined the request, and with the consent of the defense attorney, Adv. Tami Ullman, Judge Maria Ficus-Bogdanov allowed more publicity from today.

Suspicions that span about three decades.

The suspicions against the psychologist are spread over three decades.

As first reported in Walla !, Ginny, 50, was questioned by police on suspicion of sexually assaulting a 17-year-old boy with autism.

As we have published, this is not the first or last time he has been questioned against such backgrounds, when in May a complaint was lodged from an 18-year-old man with special needs about an assault that happened when he was 14.

In 2018, the Haifa psychologist was questioned on suspicion of indecent assault 14 with special needs.

The case was then closed in the prosecution for lack of evidence and is expected to reopen.

Meanwhile, revealed in Walla!

A 36-year-old man claims that at the age of 12 the psychologist committed indecent acts and sodomy on him over a period of about a year, when he was treated by him after being orphaned by his mother.

Following the interview he also filed a complaint with the police.

It was learned that similar suspicions against Ginny also arose during his stay in the United States on the occasion of his studies.

In his interrogations over the years, including in the current interrogation, Ginny has denied what is attributed to him, claiming that these are false plots.

He was interrogated with a warning at the Haifa station, but was later released on restrictive conditions.

Last week he had a confrontation with the 36-year-old.

Police say the investigation into the complaints in question has ended and that the case has been referred to the district attorney's office for review and decision.

A source in the State Attorney's Office confirmed that the case is known, but did not know the date when a decision on the matter is expected.

The complainants interviewed by Walla!

Wait impatiently for the publication of the identity of the psychologist.

"All around everyone has known all these years," the father told the boy with special needs, "our hope is that all those victims of these horrific sexual offenses, by whom we as parents trusted to provide mental health care to our helpless children, will urgently file a complaint with the police. "He is fit against him and he will be detained until the end of the legal proceedings, thus preventing further injuries."
