Many creative ideas have been received for the 2021 participatory budget of the municipality of Neufahrn.
Now the opinion of the citizens is required.

- For the participatory budgeting 2021, committed citizens from Neufahrn have again contributed many creative ideas this year.
A total of 71 suggestions were submitted, 39 of which were assessed as feasible after a preliminary check by the administration - for example, suggestions that were not a municipal task or an investment measure.
Seven thematically identical suggestions for a calisthenics park were combined into one.
The same applies to four thematically related proposals for providing ashtrays in the municipality to reduce pollution from cigarette butts lying around.
The 30 new proposals from the participatory budget 2021 have been available at www.buergerhaushalt-neufahrn.de since June 28th.
Citizens can comment and rate individual ideas up to and including July 11th.
From July 12th, there will be two weeks of voting for your favorite proposals - either digitally or via ballot papers, which are available in the town hall, the library and in the Vhs.
The Neufahrner participatory budget with a total budget of 30,000 euros has existed since 2019. The aim is to offer the population in the municipality a platform to actively participate in improvements in the municipality.
For example, the new boules court at the sports field in Neufahrn is based on an initiative from the participatory budgeting 2019.
This also applies to the two included play equipment at the playground on the Lohe.
And anyone who has ever relaxed on one of the two relaxation loungers set up in the community area will benefit from a participatory budgeting project under the slogan "Lebendiges Neufahrn", which aims to create smaller oases for the population to linger.
The municipality of Neufahrn hopes that the population will again take an active part in participatory budgeting this year.
